BENEFITS
We appreciate the hard work SMCI associates do and are pleased to offer them a full array of benefits. SMCI benefits are built to provide a comprehensive package for our associates and their families with a high quality, cost efficient medical coverage.

Medical
Through Kaiser Permanente, we offer a Flexible Choice Plan, which includes an HMO, PPO and Out-Of-Network components

as well as an HMO only Plan. Both include prescription drugs, mental health, substance abuse and alternative medicine coverage.

Dental
Humana Dental is a PPO Plan (Preferred Provider Plan), which allows you to go to any dentist with-in their National Network or receive services that are completely out of their network.

Vision
VSP (Vision Service Plan) is a plan paid 100% by SMCI for vision care needs for the associate and their families.

Short & Long Term Disability
The coverage is provided and paid 100% by SMCI; they both provide partial income coverage due to illness or injury. The Plan covers 70% and 60% protection respectively.

Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance
SMCI pays 100% for this important insurance benefit where your coverage is paid at twice the total amount of your annual salary. AD&D also pays the benefit in addition to your life insurance payment.

EAP
The Employee Assistance Program is designed to aid associates with every day issues; be it family, work-related, financial or emotional health at no cost to you.

Flexible Spending Accounts (Medical and Dependent)
An IRS rule allows these reimbursements accounts to set aside pre-tax dollars to give you the ability to reimburse yourself for incurred eligible expenses.

401(k) Defined Contribution Savings Plan
SMCI offers taxed-deferred retirement security through a 100% vested plan from the first day of the month after your hire date. We match 100% of the first 3% and 50% of the next 2%.

Paid Time Off
Vacation Time, Sick Leave, Jury Duty, Military Leave, Bereavement Leave and Holiday Pay are all part of this benefit. Vacation pay varies based on years of service.

Supplemental Insurances
SMCI offers additional coverage opportunities to Life Insurance including AFLAC Insurance products and Legal Coverage Insurance through payroll deduction.

Credit Union Membership
As an associate of SMCI, you are eligible to join the Northwest Federal Credit Union with services that range from savings/checking accounts, credit cards, home and car loans, etc.
